This male Bell's color is fading away on his head (right in the center)...

My first thought was scarring from a nasty female, but the scalation is still there... Furthermore, the females he's been are very passive; I watched every time he was placed with one and he was never bitten... He has a couple other small blotches starting on his body as well...

I'm perplexed...

I got one better for you

I popped out a solid yellow hybino whos doesnt have any bumps on her head and some of her back. A smoothie as I call her. She has a tiny kink on her tail so I am giving her to family member. I'll put up some photos though cause shes cool. Sorry for the hyjack Mike. Mike Panichi

what is the big deal. The male I bred this year had a really bad kink and none of my babies had one.

I wouldn't sell an animal with a kink even as small as this. Its not a problem though because I always have family and friends asking for a baby so this girl is perfect for that. Thanks

That hottie little Hybino looks bald. Kinda neat, do any of her siblings have this "issue" as well?
If they did, I would have probably tried to breed them to each other(assuming they were m/f) to see if there was something going on there. Im not a big fan of breeding animals with defects but something like this in my opinion, would be harmless and pretty darn cool if it proved out to be recessive. Oh well. Its a nice little gecko anyway which will be heading north to CT for one of my cousins. Thanks for looking.

I don't mean to take away from Mike's thread, :main_laugh: but here's a crop of a blotch on his body...

Look at this spot I just found on my new little dark leo. I think it's just a small piece of skin from the last shed, but it sure sticks out don't it?
