What's the best temp for my leo?

I have heard WILDLY contradicting temps. Currently my warm side is @ 89 and cool side is 76, humidity is 39%. taken with Accu-rite digital thermometer/humidity thing. Do they NEED a temp shift from day to night? I've heard they do AND that it doesn't matter. Could someone give me a definitive answer, because I want my little leo to be happy and healthy for a long time!

You do not need a different temperature for day and night what you need is a temperature gradient so they can choose if they want to be on the warmer or cooler side (which you have so thats good!). Your warm side could be a bit warmer but 89 is pretty close, mine usually stays around 92, but anywhere between 90-94 is a good temperature. The cool side is just room temperature so 76 is perfect. You dont need to measure the humidity, as long as they have a humid hide they are OK, no additional spraying of the tank is necessary.

Just provide a hotspot of between 88-92 and your good. I provide moist hides so I have never checked humidity.

Well my digital thermometer checks it automatically, so I figured I would post it in case anyone wanted to know. I never mist his cage or anything. And yes, my leo has a moist hide on the warm side. :)

There is no "best temp." The best thing for your leos is a range from the mid 90's down to ambient temp (mid-low 70's).
