Whats The Best UTH Brand?

I'm going to start shopping for my leo soon. I just want to know who is using what brand of UTH and how it works. Do you have to use any other heating sources along with it or does the UTH work fine by itself, even in colder months?

I am considering getting either the T-Rex Cobra UTH or the Exo Terra UTH.

I think alot of people use the zoo med UTH it just seems to be extremely available every pet store you go too seems to carry them:main_thumbsup:

I use a zoo med, and it goes up and down way too much. I don't recommend one. And for you other question, a uth is enough. In the winter months, they can be a bit colder. They will hibernate if they are too cold though. If you don't want them to hibernate (they don't need to in captivity) just use a thermostat to bring the temp up, or like I did, install another uth, but one with low wattage (if you have a 20 gallon, get a 10 gallon uth).
