All he does is sleep in his skull. He hardly comes out at night except to eat. I wake up, hes up one of every 4 days otherwise hes sleeping. When I go to bed at like 10, hes still sleeping. He will come out, eat and rest on the hotspot then go back in.
Hes boring me out of my mind! lol
Are all Leos this lazy?

Mine is lazy too, all I ever see him do is go to his litterbox then back into his hot hide. I think part of his issue is he was tub raised and now he's in a natural environment and abit of culture shock but then again I only got him october 1 so hecould still be adjusting but I NEVER see him out exploring unless it's just after feeding time and I still have his hot hide taken apart. If I do have the pleasure of seeing him out as soon as he sees me he's gone back to the hot hide.

this is normal. he's possibly just settling in, and it will take a while for them to feel safe. they will come out when your asleep. they come out when its dark and whn nobody is around and it sounds quiet and safe. just because its ten at night doesnt mean hes gonna get up and come out.
patience and regular handling and taming can make him more interesting.

also make sure there is plenty to do for him in his cage.

I know my cage is set up like romper room for a leo... there's tons to climb, hide, and explore, and I bet the lil booger is out having a blast when no one's there to watch him 'cept the dog and mice colony that sleeps in that room. Grrr...

How long have you had him? None of my 19 are "boring" as you put it. Some just lazy around yes but thats coz there content. They know they got food, heat, and hiding places. What more can a gecko ask for? Then i have others who DEMAND to be taken out. They scratch at there doors wanting out or try to climb the glass sides(none of mine are in tubs/rack systems. Your guy is just content his needs are met. Maybe offer him a more exciting food like crickets or roachs. that always gets my lazy bums going!

Had him for about 2 months. Got tank redesigned a month ago. Hes got a lot to play with. With crickets hes out hunting... I guess he just likes his skull.

That is a sweet looking cage setup! I do have to say geckos are like the cat of lizards always sleepin never up except for food and to use the washroom. I have to say if you ever want to SEE him take him out and handle him for a few min :-D. When i haven't seen a certain gecko in a while i take him/her out we hang for a few then i put them back.
