Whats your procedure?

Ok I am curious.

What is your procedure for acclimating your leos and how does it differ between local pickups and those that are shipped to you?

most will say to order online from a breeder, just so you know exactly what you getting. such as the age, morph, ect.

I done same with all my Geckos. they went into quarantine for 3 month. But I have to say that the Leos I picked up personally at the breeders and drove them 1 hour home at good climate started to eat better than the ones I got overseas which means they spend 24 or more hours in a package.
I just put them in my Racksystem(normaly for babies but realy good for the first 3 month when you don´t have babies^^) and hold everything sterile.

My protocol is the same regardless of who I got the gecko from or whether the gecko has been shipped or picked-up... 90-day quarantine and a fecal test. I have had some geckos eat immediately, and others have taken some time to settle in first, and housing them individually helps determine how they are coming along.
