When can you sex a male leopard gecko?

As in, when do you start seeing the signs of the ventral pores and hemipenal buldges? I'm assuming that my gecko I've had for 2 1/2 months is female, (She's around 5 1/2-6 inches now nose to tail) no pores or obvious buldges have appeared.

It depends how experienced you are. Some breeders that produce hundreds of leos a year can sex them very soon. I would say about 8-9 months old for you at the earliest but sexing at a year would be the most accurate.
