When Do Female Leos First Ovulate?

The title is my main question. I have a 7 month old female and am going to be keeping her for a week in the same tank as an 8 month old male. He has been in a viv with tons of other babies and juveniles for a while and I don't recall any complaints from the handlers as to any aggression or breeding attempts from him, but that could be because he is too young as well. He has been solitary for a little over a week now.

I guess my main question is when do leos become sexually mature? Or if it is possible that this male will be aggressive toward my female?

They are so young that it would be similar to a favorable pet store environment, only with no sand, constant handling, and are not going to be fed together. Does that seem like okay conditions for a week? Here is the tank they will be staying in (with paper towel substrate) It's a 15 gallon long.

8 month old male in the same tank as baby geckos? That's just a bad idea.

As for females, they can start their first ovulation between 7-11 months, it's quite random. If you don't want the male to mate with the female, you really don't want to put them in the tank together. The male is sexually mature already at 8 months. Chances are he's going to attempt, and could possibly get aggressive. Sexually mature males are known to try to mate with females even if a female isn't ready or ovulating.

I separated them because he appeared to be slightly aggressive, but she managed to climb over to his side of the tank to "cuddle" with him. Since then he hasn't shown aggression toward her when they hang out with my supervision, but she has bit him in the face a couple times. That is so weird because she liked him so much the first day they were together. There is also my suspicion of her being a male, because she is only 6.5 inches long, it is hard to tell.

The picture of my female's vent area when im not holding her tail back is on the left, and on the right is when i hold her tail back to see the space beneath her vent.
