When is it Necessary...

...to get a new tank.I currently own a 10 gallon,whats the next level up?20 gallon?And when do I switch,like what size of my gecko in inches do I get a new tank.When he's 4 inches or 5 inches,etc.Thanks for further notice.

a single leo can spend its entire life in a 10g but if you want to move it to a 20long when its an adult, I am sure it would not mind.
