when is it okay to put my geckos together? how can i tell without risking one of them getting hurt or killed?

Other than both of your leos being at a nice healthy weight, and healthy... and you've already done your research. Make sure your female is ovulating

Just to add to what pink said.the female needs to be MINIMUM 50 grs if not more and the male same weight and 1 yr old.u need to make sure she is ovulating or the male can get hurt when the female fights back because shes not receptive

If you are worried you can watch them. We typically house all our animals individually. When a female is ovulating we will put the male in with her. We keep an eye on them for the first couple minutes just to be sure she does freak out on him. If we don't see any fighting then we let them be overnight to maybe a couple days.
