when should I start

I have had my little boy for a few weeks now and i want to know when I should start putting my hand in the cage to tame him a little. he is very happy with his cage now because he acts so much happier then when I first got him. he is also about 6 in from noes to the tip of his tale, so he is big enough now to please give me some advice

Just pick him up. But If he don't wanna to be picked up just put your hand into cage and let him "explore" you are not a enemy. You should repeat this two or three times and them pick'em again.

Since you've already had him for awhile and he should be be pretty well situated to his new home you could start now. I like to just place it in there for a few minutes and see how he reacts.
