here is a table that estimates the number of eggs that the average female will lay, based upon age:

so based on the table, she is still very much in her prime :)

The only other thing is to not overbreed your females for several consecutive years. Maybe make the female your breeder every other year, or breed her for two years and then give her a break for a year or two, etc..
