When to retire males?

Ive been keeping leos for years but i have only been breeding for about a year now but i have a 7 year old male and I wasnt sure if males should be retired like females once they are older. is it ok to breed him with my 2 year old tang? Or would the eggs be infertile? Thanks!

I think males will stay fertile much longer than females, so as long as he's healthy I would give him a try!

i had one concern before i bred the two. the male i was talking about has bit off a tail of one of my breeders before and i dont want my SHCTB to lose her beautiful carrot tail. Should i still attempt to breed them?
