I've candled some eggs that were hatched early march and they are solid yellow which means they are infertile.I know some of the experience breeders say to incubate till they stink.I need room in my incubator so i was wondering if its safe to throw them out. They are definately solid yellow.Any input from experienced breeders??

I think freezing ensures that for those who live in warmer climates do throw out a fertile egg that will end up hatching at the land fill. Honestly I just got done with my first two clutches and same as yours two YELLOW eggs...I tossed them. I live in WI they aren't gonna hatch in my "wild" LOL

Roger, cut one open so you can see exactly what the yellow mass is. After all this time, no blood = no baby. When you see inside for yourself, all doubt will be removed. We may pretty much know in the beginning that an egg is infertile, but have hope it will begin to live.

If it's yellow at this point there is no hatchling inside. Go ahead and cut it open for learning experience.

Why in the world would freezing an egg be needed?? If it won't hatch in your incubator it's not going to hatch in your trash can or in the sewer when flushed..... lol

yeah Im pretty sure they are infertile. They are completely yellow. To me it makes no sense to incubate when they are solid yellow.Im going to cut one open

you can tell after like 2 weeks if their bad tho just from looking at it.

I've seen numerous cases of people thinking eggs are infertile and then they hatch. Unless the egg is flat, or extremely dented or molded at that time it probably means it's bad. When in doubt, incubate.

I wasn't talking about your egg, I was responding to theinfidel when he said you can tell just by looking at it after 2 weeks.
