I just got two females :D from an expo, i got a bell and a super hypo tangerine. They are maybe 5-6 inches. i know they're probably stressed out and need to settle in, but how long until they will eat? they have a bowl of mealworms available.

Two of mine ate as soon as I put them in their tanks. The other two took a few days to calm down before they felt comfortable enough to eat. Are you housing them separately?

I've had good luck with most of mine, they generally eat right away or within a few days. It seems that a week or two is not uncommon though, so just leave them alone until you see that they are settled in and eating.

Don't be alarmed if they don't eat for a couple of weeks. Some of mine were like that. And I've also had them eat right away.i know the temptation is to pick them up or peek in their tank, but I would leave them totally alone for 2-3 days.Give them fresh water.

Two of mine ate the first day I brought them home, then didn't eat for almost a week. My first gecko didn't eat for 9 days after I got her home.
The most recent gecko I got, I covered the sides of her tank with paper towel for a few days so I wouldn't bug her as much, and she seemed to calm down and settle in faster than my other two.

Ok, they have a dish of mealworms available for them in the tank when they decide to eat.
