Where do you get vermiculite?

Just wondering where everyone here gets vermiculite? I've run out of all the stuff that came with the 2 Hovabators I got from LLL and need some more.

I've had a lot of success with the vermiculite, so would like to stick with that. I've gotten the vermiculite:water ratio down pretty good. I know they have it at Lowe's and Home Depot, just wondering if it's safe? I don't want to accidentally get anything that's full of a bunch of chemicals or something.

So, I guess maybe where you get it and is there a particular brand that most of you use?

The Sta-Green stuff from Lowes is 100% vermiculite with no additives. It works fine. So what ratio are you using?

I use this kind...the brand is "Uni-Gro"

But I get it at the local plant nursery here, and it's usually around $7 for a large bag.

Jason: I guess I should have said I've gotten good at eyeballing the correct mixture! lol I don't measure. I just put the vermiculite into the deli cup and then add water via spray bottle a small amount at a time. I mix and feel for the correct consistancy. So far the only eggs that have molded on me have been infertile.
