I/m just curious where everyone is getting their scales?
i don't mean to be rude BUT... i don't quite understand the need.
Why do people ask things like; where do i buy scales? where do i buy a thermometer?
I mean, ... just... in the correct shops. Surely people can find a shop that sells scales or a thermometer. Maybe a kitchen shop, or a handy tools type shop, or a general shop. or.. the internet.
Its just common sense, and i dont think there is much need to get help on where to buy something so generic and basic... i mean fair enough if it was something a bit specialised to the subject like crested gecko diet or something... but its scales..
I'm asking what people are using to weigh their leopard geckos and where they got them. You know what works for them. I'm not going to go to any old store and buy a scale when it probably is a piece of junk. That's why I'm getting people's opinions here.
Thanks for you post though. I like hearing myself talk too sometimes. :main_laugh:

the answer is always the same; 'Walmart'
Jordan...Who pissed in your Corn Flakes?? LOL
The next time your at walmart, look in the office/stationary section. The one I got is used to weigh envelopes and small packages (up to 3 lbs) It can measure in grams, ounces, and pounds. Its pretty accurate and works great. Hope that helps better than all the wise crack answers..
LOL haha, i know ive been an ass...
What i am trying to explain is hard to explain in words over the internet without it sounding completely rude and ignorant... which i have already seemed like... so i've stopped haha.
i apologise for sounding rude and a bit narky.
I just think people surely must be able to find where to buy their own scales... its just like buying anything else.
I don't mean YOU in particular, but its a common subject; 'where can i buy a thermometer' ... 'where can i buy scales' ... where can i buy a gecko..
and anyway, the answer is always the same; 'Walmart'
