Where should I buy from...
an online store (http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog.../yearling-albino-leopard-gecko--regrown-tail/
Yearling Albino Leopard Gecko - Regrown Tail)
a random person (breeder)... (http://hamilton.kijiji.ca/c-pets-ot...eopard-geckos-Juvie-Females-W0QQAdIdZ53071318
3 leopard geckos> Juvie Females - Hamilton Pets For Sale - Kijiji Hamilton)
an online breeder...
or a store...
(petco)

I know petco is not great...but are random people/online stores ok?

How old is your choice. I've always chosen juvi's/adults, because I can see their final pattern and coloring.

I would also recommend www.brightalbino.com. I am really pleased with the gecko I got from them.

If your picking up I don't think weight would matter too much. For shipping I won't ship untill 15+ grams but closer to 20 grams. If you like watching them change, get a young one if you want one that won't change much get an adult.

Get a baby definitely - I've just got three and although yeah it's hard work because they are and you are new to everything but its nice watching them change colours and seeing them grow SO QUICKLY!! :)

And my mom before had said it would take a while before I could get mine...
But she actually has brought me to pet stores, and told me to craiglist terrariums...they are so cheap :p

yeah, I would buy from a breeder on here as well. We all have nice, healthy animals and it's always nice to support private breeders.

Yeah I wish I'd bought mine from breeders on here, but found this website after I got my 1st two and my other one rescued from petshop yesterday :)

Hard to say really. I have a 5 month old gecko who's just about 40 grams, and I also have a 10 month old who is around 35 grams. Both are females. I'd say a good guess would be around 8 months old though.

I agree, now that you have found this site, your best bet would be to purchase from someone on here or kingsnake.com

The breeder should have weight measurements, so you can find one that is about 40 grams, but the ages will all vary.
