which Herpstat?

ok so sort of confused on the herpstat.... would i need a grounded one? or not grounded? whats the difference?? i wanna use it for an incubator, and then hook it up to a rack eventually... and does it matter also between herpstat? or herpstat nd?

I have a herpstat ND which gives u the option of Dropping the temp at night.The regular Herpstat doesnt give u the option.Also the ND and the regular herpstat arnt grounded.There is another model that is grounded but you only need to buy the grounded one if your rack is made of metal.If your rack is not metal and u dont want to drop your temps at night then get the regular Herpstat which is the cheapest

you only need the grounded herpstat if your rack is made of metal.the grounded herpstat has the 3 pronged cord.if your rack is made of wood or plastic all u need is the regular herpstat which has the 2 prongs at the end of the cord
