Which size zoo med repti shelter for leo?

I will be getting my first gecko in a week or so and I just want to make sure I get the right size hide for him. Going to be getting a repti shelter for the humid hide and did not know if small or medium was the better size for the average adult leopard gecko. This is my first, so don't want to go out and get one too big or too small! I am assuming medium but I would rather be safe then sorry. Thank you!!

i would go with the medium just to be sure! You cant go wrong with spending a couple extra bucks on the bigger one knowing that the gecko will fit If you woulkd like to contact me on more questions on geckos( im 13 but i know a LOT) shoot me a message on my page ill be glad to help!

Or just buy a deli container for almost nothing and cut a hole in the top!

I actually ordered one of these about a week ago and it just arrived today. I purchased the medium sized one and it seems pretty good. It is a little bulky, but interior-wise it's the perfect size for an adult leopard gecko and I would not be comfortable having a smaller one.

That said... I wouldn't recommend using this hide in anything smaller than a 20L... the way it's designed causes it to take up alot of space. I bought one because that tank has been moved to our living room and I wanted something that looked nicer than the tupperware we had been using =)

A few reviews on Amazon rated these Repti Shelters 1 star and warned that they may crack on the warm side of the tank. That's why I got the Exo Terra Gecko Cave instead.
