So, a little history about my little guy first.
He's nearly 4 years old, about 6 1/2 inches long (not including tail, and has been healthy besides him scratching his eye and getting it infected a few months ago, but the vet cleaned it out and gave me some eye cream. He's completely healed besides him keeping it closed every once in a while, but the cream helps that. The stress and him not eating as much during this period did decrease his tail mass, but still big enough to keep him healthy until I get it back up.
I use carpet substrate, clean it every couple of days and have plenty of hiding spots, proper heat, and I feed him crickets and superworms (after removing the head) with vit. C and a multivitamin supplement every few days.
Now to the problem. Last night he shed his skin, and today he still had some on his toes, so I put him in a warm bath with a few drops of ZooMed Shedding aid, and when he went for a drink, his entire tongue was pure white with a little bit of red down the middle. I assume it's a vain of some sort, but I'm worried about him.
What has caused this and should I be worried?
