who has tried chicks?

i saw chicks for sale online for .25 each and their mice where .50 each. thats cheap, whos had problems feeding chicks full term?

No problems, and I'm sure it depends on what you're feeding. The Corns I had seemed to really like them. Recommended!

It's been a while, but I believe it was Rodent Pro. What are you planning on feeding chicks to?

different colubrids(kings,milks,rats, corns,sm pythons,house snakes) i can look it up online, i just wanted to get somones opinion who has used them tho. :main_thumbsup:

I used to be a supplier of them. All of my customers really enjoyed using them. My boss said his carpet python and everglade rat snake seemed to have more of a aggressive feeding behavior when offered them, compared to rodents. Another customer of mine was having a hard time offering his BP something other then gerbils, but it took a chick on the first try.

I have a copy of a nutrient chat of feeders. It shows them superior to rats and other rodents of the same size. If you want it, just ask.

Chicks are not a bad thing at all. If you have a steady supply go for it!

and how big is a newborn? like a adult mouse right?

When I ordered chicks from Rodent Pro I got the newborn ones, and they were pretty large. About the size of a sm. rat. Maybe I just got really big ones, but I initially got them for my black rough neck monitor, but she was too small at the time to eat them. So they ended up being fed to my red tail boa

Well my brother has a hawk and ferret so he always has them, but i hate feeding them plus i got told it makes there color change a little
