Who is this little guy?

so i was in the pet store i hate ( cant help it) and found a tiney tank with a seashell in a corner- i lifted up the seashell and found this little guy! im sure that this was a wild caught gecko and was being held on to by a novice, decided to drop him off at this pet store ( its a great place to rescue animals, terrible to be an animal there though)
anyway, wanted to ask what he was- the closest i can figure is a Pachydactylus (rugosus) formosus
hes such a cutey, and i wish i could have taken him home
