I would say that I am obsessed with my leo. I pamper her so much, my husband is jealous and he's not the jealous type.

I think I need a category above obsessed! They are always my first priority in all decision making! I love them so much that I conquered my fear with bugs and now I'm breeding lateralis, dubias, silkworms, mealworms and supers! Just for the 13 geckos! We eat instant cereals, and our bugs get to eat the pricey organic stuff!

I'd been wanting one since I helped care for some in my ecology classroom in high school. It's been more than 10 years to get one, but the wait was totally worth it. My leo is awesome and even more cool than I expected.

Plus, it's fun having a gecko. People like talking to people who have pets that aren't fuzzy--they find it kind of fascinating even if they themselves aren't herp people.

That's good. I've had a vast array of comments from people. Some people have said things like, "That's nice, I heard they make good pets" to "OMG, I wouldn't be able to sleep in the house with something like that around!"
