Whoo! First crested babies!

So, after a few bad eggs and a single (depressing) stillbirth, I came home from vacation to see 4 baby crested geckos! Man, are they ever so tiny! Leopard gecko hatchlings are giants in comparison!

I don't have any photos yet since I'm still getting a feel for these little guys, but I also came home to see that my Dubia colony went nuts breeding over the holidays, so now I've got plenty of nymphs for all. Couldn't have timed the hatchlings better!

Wooo yeah man they are tiny little things when they hatch! bloody jumpy as well haha

Ketz, yeah, once they get big enough. I'm almost at saturation with the number of animals I can currently support without buying more cages, so I"m going to have to thin the herd this spring. I'm just waiting until the weather starts to warm before I do any advertising. Trying to sell at this time of year is like dangling tantalizing carrots in front of peoples' noses and saying, nope, you can't have until later! ^_^ So yeah, they're overwintering with me.
