Why did this leopard gecko not live very long?

A super giant leopard gecko

hatched in 2001, and died in 2007. Why only 6 years? what i'm wondering is if giants do not live as long as other geckos..? Thats really all i'm asking. i know there's a ton of ways that giant gecko could of died, but i'm just curious

i haven't heard anything about short life expectancy for giants/super giants.
ron says he doesn't know why moose died.

I know nothing about giants or their life expectancy, but think of giant human beings. They live a shorter life, because their size is hard on their body. But those cages do look filthy.

I have trempers new book,
he says perhaps that super giants are like giant dog breeds the life expectancy is lower. He was referring to the unexpected death of Moose pg98-99 in his new book.
