I am just so p!$$ed off at people who get animals that they just get bored with. Maybe before a mommy buys little junior that cute little...whatever...they need to really stop and think about it. I mean as a parent if little johnny never wants to clean or feed his new pet maybe you should a) be willing to do it for them B) be willing to find that animal a new home RIGHT away or C) just say no in the first place and not buy it at all. We got a call the other day from the lady at our local pet store. She had an emergency situation and needed me. I was sick so my husband went to see what she needed. he came home

with this little guy. He was left by the back door to the pet shop in a shoe box. It was raining here friday and this poor little guy got to sit out there in a damp shoe box till she found him.:main_angry: I give them a LITTLE credit that they left him at a pet store but how long was he out there???? There are cats around her shop. This box was better then being turned loose but not by alot. He isnt in as bad of shape as some we have gotten. He is a whopping 22 grams and prob a full grown leo.The vet said he does have pin worms so he is on wormer. He is in a tub right now and he is actually eating well ( ate about 15 mealies last night) so I am hopeful for his future but when will people ever learn????

I hate that too. People can be so stupid to just let an animal sit in a shoebox without anything. Hopefuly he will recover and I wish the best of luck to you to help them. I also get so P!$$ed off when people do this.

some people shouldnt be allowed to have animals.
i look at my kids (pets as some ppl call them) as my main responsibility.
id rather go with out than let my kids go without.
i look at my animals as my kids...
and people should too.
you get an animal you keep it and care for it its full life till its gone.
same as you would a kid (except an animal will live with you forever)

I so agree with you Ariana !!!! My dad always told that if you take an animal into yur house you better take that animal into your heart because you are responcible for its life. I dont believe in the "disposable" pet therory. I dont care if its a $1.50 mouse.....a pet has the right to proper care. Heldig ( lucky in Norwegian....dont ask why my husband picked norwegian but he did, lol) is doing well so far. He is a little trooper. I gave him 3 waxies as a treat today and he gobbled those right down. We rehome alot of our rescues but he has had what appears to be a rough little life so I think he has found his forever home. I dont want him to have any disruption in his life after this.
