I have a 3 1/2 year old male leopard gecko. About a month and a half ago he fractured his leg. It healed but a abscess formed, he stopped eating. They gave him antibiotics every 3 days, and even though the abscess is not gone yet (I dont have the money to bring him back just yet) He eats like a pig! Like he always has. But hes not pooping normally. In fact, theres no poop at all. Just the dried up yellowish pee thats normal, and alot of clear liquid. Hes a healthy weight and size, the only thing thats not right is the abscess. Why is he not pooping? It's been about two weeks. What can I do to help him?

Antibiotics can also kill the gram positive (good) bacteria in the GI system that is needed to help digest food. Heavy antibiotic treatment can cause diarrhea, and even loss of appetite. It's good that your gecko is eating, but if it continues a trip back to the vet is in order.
