Will baby's Over eat?

I was told to put mealworms in and let him eat it when he wants.

They will stop when they are full. Leave a bowl of mealies in the cage and they will eat as they need.

They can over eat when they're young. We always keep a bowl of mealies in for ours and on rare occasions we'll find some regurgitated mealies from the little guys. Sometimes they eat a little too much when they're young. They grow out of it fast and learn when to stop. I just think sometimes they get so excited to eat and then over do it. It's really nothing to worry about though, they'll get the hang of it.

It happens haha. Sometimes I'll find a week old who obviously over ate and is so darn fat. The next day I'll find a puke. It's really only the really young guys during their first few meals before they get the hang of everything. It's happened a few times this year.

Have you had any hatchlings yet Matt, or are you talking about your adults?

No hatchlings yet, very young leos though. As in 7 or 8 weeks. I will by january though!
