stress the female out? We have a female that I am pretty sure is gravid and she hates to be held up in the air. Will me checking her anyway stress her out and hurt the eggs in any way? This is our first year breeding  and I don't want to do anything that will risk the eggs or my mommies health. Thanks

If picking her up in the air stresses her then try putting her in a clear container and look at her belly through it, but I don't think it will do anything to the eggs. Hope this helps.

Picking her up 1-2 times a week shouldn't stress her that much. If it does then do what Amir said.

Unless you are poking at her or being rough with her, handling her with care will not harm her eggs. Just think of all the rocks and stuff that they would crawl over in the wild.

Thanks for the advice. I put her in a container and she is defianatly gravid. I should have eggs really soon from the looks. My husband tells me all the time that these things do this all the time in the wild without me there to fuss over them, LOL. Hey this is my first time being a gecko grammy, I have to worry a little, LOL.
