i'm going home for a couple of days for christmas and was trying to figure out if it would be ok to leave Leo here with a dish full of mealies and a full water dish or if i would need to take him along... it's like a 5 hour drive and i would only be gone from probably saturday morning to wednesday night... i feel like the long car ride would stress him out more than it would help and i'm pretty confident he'd be ok with being home alone...

what do you guys think?

outta my freakin mind
I think that he will be just fine. Don't over fill one food dish... use a couple of half full dishes. Also add a little carrot to the dish or some gutload to keep the mealies alive and kicking. Make sure to he has water and the humid hide is good and moist.

Your good to go. :main_thumbsup:

Ditto to what Jeremy said. You gotta imagine what it's like for them out in the wild some times to realize they are not as helpless as they seem to us.

i was planning on just leaving him here like i did over thanksgiving, but the fiancee suggested i should take him (she really does care about little Leo after all)

she wanted me to turn the heat in the house down while we were gone, but i'm not putting it as low as she wanted me to (55*) if i'm leaving him home.

thanks for the replies, guys.

I think turning the heat down would be fine. I would say keep it at 60* and turn the UTH up 3 or 4 degrees.
