This is my sweet Mylo:

He's a 6 month old Tremper Albino Giant. Will his colors stay the same, get brighter or fade out!?:inquisitive:
I'm very new to Leo's and have read many, many posts about drastic changes in color. I chose Mylo because of his random pattern. He's sweet and calm and will be dearly loved no matter what he looks like but I am curious. Any ideas?

-Hmmm...I understand that it's a guessing game, but is one more likely then the other? And do they keep changing? Is there an average age where their colors remain the same or very similar with adulthood?
-This is all very new to me. My mind is just blown with seeing how different a babe can look from an adult! Amazing!:wideeyed:

I think he may stay relatively similar to how he looks now. I don't know about giants but most of my guys have changed a bit but not a lot after they hit 40g. He's pretty! Hope I'm right :)

P.S. Tremper's colors can be pretty temperature sensitive. If he gets too chilly or too hot his colors may change quite a bit so barring that happening I think he may stay pretty similar.

Thank you DrCarrotTail. He could turn brown and I'd still think he was beautiful! LOL! Darling Lil'man. He hasn't changed much since I've had him, so perhaps this is just Mylo:)

I can attest to this.
I went out of town for a couple of nights one time when Ackbar (who I'm almost certain has the co-dominant giant gene ) was my only gecko and a lightning storm blew out his power strip. All of the brown bands from when he was a baby turned dark dark dark brown because the temperature had dropped in the air conditioning. At first I thought it was cool looking and then I did some research and realized that I'm just an ass who bought a cheap power strip.

On the topic of Mylo, sometimes I can't believe how nasty geckos are! Sticking their feet in their water bowl and then drinking it!

It's Mylo's favorite thing to do! LOL!
(Here he is with the front foot stuck in!)

He gets fresh water every night so I don't worry too much. Silly boy!:)
