Will my female start ovulating soon?

So I got my male in September and have housed him with my female ever since with out any problems fighting. He normally eats between 10 to 15 crickets a week. Last week he only ate one cricket. (He is of good weight and it is a constant 81 grams. He is healthy and both are of age to breed)
So im wondering, is he reacting to the fact that she might be ovulating soon? As of tonight I dont see a follicle but remaining hopeful.

Normally the season for most folks don't really start till Feb some time. It just depends upon where you live really. Normally our season doesn't start till mid to late feb in ohio but I happened to get some stuff from Texas that's on it's own sched and it pushed all my other stuff to start.
