So my Yoshi still isnt eating I have a small short cap filled with mealies and every now and then I put a cricket in that I will either take out shortly or sometimes I leave it in all night. The crickets have their legs pulled off so they cant get away as fast but my leos just arent interested. It has been 3-4 days now since I know for a fact she hasnt eaten and she might not of in a few days before. So I was wondering if some nice wax worms would spark some interest and get them eating. If not is there something else that would work. By the way, I know geckos really LOVE wax worms but will they know the difference when I put them in the tank. If I cant get her to eat mealworms will I be able to get her to eat a waxie.

Ohh and yes she is new-ish so that could just be the issue but I would like to help her along.

Some small tomato hornworms should work to get it going. Many animals just find the green goodness too irresistable, silkworms also as well as smaller roaches. You might also try rasing the hot spot a few degrees to help its metabolism speed up then it will be hungrier. This is assuming that the gecko is healthy and in a suitable environment.

If you havent already done so get a fecal examination done. The crap needs to be fresh however. If it isnt crapping or you cant get any then you can still take it in for a cloacal lavage aka cloacal swab.
