willing to take mealies someday?

hey guys, just got a blazzing blizzard leo for my wife. this leo is a hatchling and hatched a month ago. (tiny and cute little bugger) anyway he take crickets but not mealworms and since this is our first hatchling leo and do they start out with crickets first? but i am sure leos can start out with mealies. i just would like it if he take mealworms. thanks

Yes get the small mealworms. Put maybe 2-3 in a dish to start with.

thanks, the thing is that he seem to want crickets rather than mealworms. our 4 other adults take mealworms all the time and i don't feed them crickets. maybe i should not feed him crickets until he take mealworms but don't want to take a chance since he is a hatchling.

just feed him the small cricket dusted and put like 2 mealworms in and see if he will try them on his own.

this gecko pi$# me off....won't take mealworms but take only few crickets. crickets always pi$$ me off even more.
