Wow what a weekend this has been. I have been without power since Friday morning. Maybe not getting it back until Wed evening. All is safe though. I have all my babies little heat pads hooked up to the generator, and they are all staying nice and toasty. It’s funny to check on them because I don’t think that they have moved away from the heat pads since the power went off. Oh and by the way it was in the single digits yesterday and only supposed to get up to a high of 10 today. Thank God Lowes had a generator on Friday. And on another good note. I have heard a lot of stories about a certain chain with the last two letters of ---co, and I thought I would tell a good story about them. I have been wanting a bearded for awhile now. So on Sat my girl and I were out trying to forget about the power outage, and we stopped at a few pet stores. I was trying to show her how cute bearded are. So we stopped at the co, but they didn’t have any. So she asked them if they were going to be getting any in and they told her that they had a rescue in the back. They told us that it had sprained its leg, but that they had taken it to the vet. Same vet as I go too and the best in town. IMOP I was kind of shocked but really happy to hear them say they took it to the vet. So she went back and brought him/her out. He/she looked really good and the leg has healed. I will be bringing him/her home as soon as I get power again. I’m so happy. lol

Well today is day 5 without power. I have a feeling that it will be back up when I get home. Well hoping atleast. If it wasnt for the generator and wood stove it would be terrible. But we all "Leos included" have made it through the power outage good.

Ya I am hoping that tonight is more snow than ice. Went home at lunch today and still no power for me. Had a limb take my power line off of the pole. Its hard to see everyone around you have power, and not have it yourself. Again thank God for the generator and the wood stove. Other than no power I am very lucky not to have any other damage. Stay safe tonight Maurice.

You too Tim! Here's to hoping you have real electricity soon. My fingers are crossed for you! :main_yes:

My power went out a couple days ago also (in IL). Came back on within an hour, but I thought it fried my computer...

Turned out that it just mixed it up a bit and misdirected the main read (harddrive) to USB. It was trying to use my printer as a harddrive, and locked up on the bios startup. Took awhile to figure that one out lol.

Beardies are cool as hell, and I'd like to have a couple once I have the space. I love how they move their heads in a bird-like fashion... bobbing and weaving lol. Haven't had much exposure to them, but they're very cool animals, and from what I understand they're not hard to keep.
