I was wondering about how fst a Leopard Gecko grows? Mine is about 6 1/2 in. long. Also how big do other geckos have to be to be housed together, should they be the same size or can they be smaller?

I have found that they can grow at very different rates. Some are better eaters than others. They should really be close to the same size if housing together. Watch them closely for signs of aggression.

They do grow at varying rates - but if they are housed together, they should be about the same size. If one is significantly bigger, it may bully the other or it may be eating all the food (unless you feed them separately and know for sure). But again, them being females of the same size does not guarantee that they'll get along, so in case they don't, make sure you have an extra enclosure for the aggressive one(s).

yes i figured that I've kept other lizards and snakes before but thier gone now except for my leo and my red tail boa. so plenty of cages to keep em seperated. My leo I have now was kept with a well i was told it was a female leo and it was female but not a leo i belive it was a fat tailed gecko. They got along great and she was alil bigger then dante and there were never any signs of aggresion from either of them. Thank you though for the info I appreciate it alot.
