Won't eat phoenix worms

I picked up a tub of 75 large phoenix worms at the expo this past weekend...problem is Chakra won't eat them. She chomps, tastes them and *bleh* spits em out.

I don't want to waste these and don't want to donate to the 'feed Bentley' fund (my friend's beardie) either, as she can't offer me any trades as all her leos (and Bentley) eat mealies and I don't want to feed those and Chakra won't even so much as taste em.

She loves crickets, silks, butterworms (which i think is what she keeps thinking these are--only to be bitterly disappointed) and will take hornworms too if she wants. I don't feed mealies or superworms etc.....I tried waxworms as a treat but she wouldn't even try them so don't offer those either.

The phoenixes aren't cheap and they're nutritious---I'd like to incorporate them into her diet especially since theoretically she's tasting them so it might just be a matter of time?

She's 1-2 years old and about 65 g (wiggles too much for my scale) she poops daily as well. She's used to being fed everyday and had about 4-6 crickets last night. Should I just give her a bit of time to go hungry?

Most animals will eat something when they get hungry enough right?

Both my beardie and my gecko won't touch phoenix worms right out of the container. I give them a rinse in some warm water to solve this. It gets rid of the nasty ammonia smell, the bedding, and makes them wriggle like crazy.
