Won't eat pinkies?

Hey people. I'm trying to fatten up Dexter (he's only 50 grams!), so I offered him a tiny live rat pinkie (these are smaller than mouse pinks!) as a treat. He seemed really interested in it, but he won't eat it. I'm not worried about him overeating (the reason he's so hard to fatten is because he's such a dainty eater, lol), so I put in two more, one was slightly smaller and one was slightly larger. I figured he might want a choice between different sizes.

But here's the problem:

He just played with them for a bit and then ignored them! He's actually laying next to them and they're crawling around him and he doesn't seem to care! I put one of them on his back and he just sat there and looked at me, lol.

What should I do?

Watch out for the people who are going to post about how you shouldn't feed pinkies.
Lol. They always come.

If he doesn't seem interested, then he just isn't interested. Not all Leo's will eat them.

I'm guessing Dexter may be one of those...I'll just give them to the snake if they aren't gone by tonight...

A rat pinkie smaller than a mouse pinky? I have to see pictures of that to believe it. Rat pinkies are 3x the size of mice pinkies.

Be careful and not over do with rodents, they are high in fat and some say it can cuase fatty liver disease.

If you feed your gecko a good diet of insects what is wrong with it only being 50 grams? I breed some female leopards at 50 grams.

They were smaller than mouse pinks I used to give my snake...But then I never used mouse pinks younger than 5 days in age (perhaps they were closer to fuzzies?), and these rat pinks were born like, yesterday. Then again it's been so long since I've used mouse pinks that I've probably forgotten how big mouse pinks are, lol. All I know is that they were tiny.

He's at least two years old!!!!

Mouse pinkies are from 1-4 days old, fuzzies are from 5-13 days old. A large fuzzy is about the same weight of a newborn rat pink.

If he looks healthy and seems healthy 50 grams is fine. Why do you think it is so small? I have some geckos that are 3+ years and never grew past 45 grams but there healthy as any 100 gram gecko. As long as your gecko is healthy then what need is there to feed a pinkie?
