I think the leo I just got has eaten crickets his whole life and will not eat meal worms or wax worms.

He eats enthusiastically when it comes to crickets (no impaction)

He's medium size about 6 inches and his tail isn't very fat. Plus I want to introduce a varied diet.

Any ideas on how to get him to start eating meal worms?

Sometimes leos just dont like mealworms. Mealworms dont move enough for my leo so she wont eat them, its ok to just feed crickets altough a varied diet is good.

You might open his mouth and pop a few in, if he likes them he may continue to eat them. *shrug*

my method worked for my lizard who wouldn't eat mealies and is now a pig :main_rolleyes:. lol (sounds nasty but..) squeeze a mealie till some suts come out and rub it on the side of your geckos mouth. if they taste it, it might entice them to eat it lol :) worked with mine, try it ^_^
