ok i recently got a baby beardie. i have alot of experience with leopard geckos but this is my 1st beardie. it wont eat, ive given it greens and crickets. its had maybe 4 crickets since i bought him about week nd a half. ive done my research and i know this is a common problem just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

yeah normally beardies not eating is a sign the temps are far too low. You want a basking area of 100-110, 105 is what most people shoot for. But if you are reading your temps with a stick on thermometer, dial or the type that completely adhears to the side of the tank, your temp is incorrect. Those types of thermometers reayd incorrectly anywhere from 7-21 degrees. So if you dont have a digital thermometer, invest in one to read your temps. If you do have a digital thermometer and it is reading correctly, we need to know more. If you go to www.blackninjakitty.com they have a questionair there. Copy and paste it into here and fill it out, it will give all the info needed to correct anything that might be causing the problem as there is alot of incorrect info on the wbe and in books.

i have a digital thermometor take temp and humidity... hot side 108 cool side 85

like I said we need to know more, if you go to that link I posted and give us the info that the questionair asks you, that can help out alot more in trying to find a solution to your problem
