Wood sealant question

Hello,

I was thinking about building a 2nd level in a 20G long tank. I was planning to use some scrap wood I have and then seal it with some minwax polycrylic I already have.

It's a water based sealant. Does anyone know if there are any problems with this approach?

alot of people use that stuff just make sure you let it dry and air out so no fumes. any water based non toxic polyurathane sealant sould be fine as long as you let it air out.
