Worm differences

Can anyone tell me the differences between meal worms, wax worms, super worms, etc as far as nutrion goes. I have tried meal worms a few times and my leo has only ate them once, I then tried super worms and she ate a few of them twice, but has not been interested since.
The super worms are kept out in a container and seem to smell pretty bad, and the meal worms are kept in the fridge and are cold, so maybe she does not like them cold. I want ones that are basically the lowest in maintaining.
Thanks.

mealworms are the more care-free. You can slow them down by refrigeration, just make sure you take them out once a week to eat and do worm stuff. Superworms have a long cycle, so you can keep them out all the time, but if you don't use them up, they can eventually pupate. I know nothing about waxworms other than they are more expensive.

What do you mean take them out once a week to eat, when i got them from the store they are in a container with oatmeal, and i keep them in the fridge so they are dorment. Is there something else I should do with them. The pet store I go to has the superworms in a large container sitting on top of some coloreful food. she said you can leave them out just like that and they wont do anything, but smell.. lol

If you want the mealworms to be healthy, you should take them out of the fridge about once a week so they can do their "worm stuff". I have not noticed my supers smelling foul. I would change the bedding.

I'm confused. sorry. Take the mealworms out and do what with them? The superworms are kept out, not in the fridge, I think they just smell over time, they come in a medium size container with size round pellets that I guess are food. I dont buy many at one time, maybe 5-6 superworms.

Do nothing with them. Just let them warm up, eat, poop and that kind of stuff. After a few hours put them back in the fridge. They will eventually die prematurely in the fridge if kept in there too long.
