Worm medley was on the menu tonight!

Henry, Pippi, and Rosa enjoyed a main course of mealies with a side dish of Phoenix worms. Then for dessert each enjoyed 2 waxworms. (Pippi got 3 cause she's petite--shhhh) Big Gus selected 5 Supers topped off with 3 waxies--he was one hungry man!

Any one else mix up a variety of feeders in one meal?

Can't wait to try them out on butter worms.

i mix it up quite a bit - i feel it keeps them interested. sometimes ill just put a big dish in the middle of the tank with mealies, supers, phoenix, some crix, and a few wax, to let them decide what they would like for their dindin...of course i supervise the wax worms lol. but yes, i believe a varied diet is a good diet i have never tried butter worms because i cant find them in my area, but if i ever did i would deff try them out as well.
