My concern is regardin my nelson albino
The shithole or organ which is located near the tail should be concealed along the snake body. The only time its expose is when the colubrid is layin eggs or shitin. However my nelson's **** hole is expose, has been for days.(flesh lifted up) I'm so worried, any of you guys noe wat cause it and is there anything i could do. Pleaseeeeee. Any opinon will do good

Is anything hanging out? It sounds like it could be a prolapsed cloaca, if so then you need to get it to the vet asap. Has it been out all the time for days? I've seen this happen b4, it needs to be kept moist...if it is allowed to dry then the flesh will die. Sometimes it will go back in on its own but from your description its not doing that, it's vet time. Good luck, sry this happened...it always sucks.

If it is a prolapse and it isn't too swollen you may be able to push it back in with some vaseline.

I agree with Jason on this one. If it hasn't been this way for too long (like just a day or two), you can try a few warm water soaks. But getting it to a vet is really the best thing you can do for the snake. Good Luck! :)

Call the vet and see what they say and hopefully take it over. In the meantime it might help to at least soak a soft cloth or paper towel in warm water and wrap that end of the snake. If it hasn't dried out & already started dying then there's a chance it can be put back in.

Depressed

I prepare some sugar solution to soak my nelson in.
But the moment my nelson was in the container, it swam frantically, a sign which seems like its in destress state.
Like all your other pets u soak in warm water, they will bound to struggle intially and settle down, therefore i thought the same goes for my nelson.
The next moment i know, its head is in the water with the water formin a N shape out of the water.
Musucle of the snake harden too. The water level is merely less than 1 cm for my 3 mths old nelson.
What could be the possible cause of its death, stress out ? drown? water too hot?

Scold me stupid, blame me for it, i took an innocent life.

Sincerely thanks you guys for your help. What a costly lesson for me

Oh No! I'm very sorry for your loss.

The water should have been just warm. If you put your finger in it, it shouldn't feel hot. I've soaked cornsnakes, boas, and pythons and never had a problem. I've even whitnessed them put their head under water with no ill effects. A milk shouldn't be any different. Again, I am so very sorry for your loss. :(

That seriously sucks, i'm sorry for your loss.

From what it sounds like i would guess that the snake was either already in shock or was triggered into shock when placed into the water, which in turn killed it. For educational purposes, can you tell us a little bit more? When did this issue start? What was the sex of the snake & can u describe what was coming out? What exactly was the solution(ingredients)? Again, sorry this happened....

It actually started 4 days back, i thought it will heal naturally by itself thus neglecting it until yst . Its actually a unsex milk, i believe the hemipenis prolapsed and i soak it in a sugar + water solution. After analysin all the possibility i derived that its either shocked to death or burn to death by the water. RIP buddy
