I think my gecko just ate some moss. I guess it's called peat moss, that stuff you can by from a pet store. Well I have it in one of her hides and when I walked in to check on them I saw her looking at something like she was going to eat it...you know that look they give when they are about to attack. Well I saw what appeared her eating something and it looked green! I couldn't tell completely because the lighting was dark, but I think she just ate some!

Is it going to pass through her alright? Should I worry :main_huh: :main_huh: ?

Small amounts are usually passed with no problems. Don't worry she will be fine. You will see it in her poop.

Hey Kristin, I am sure it will be fine, I don't think it could have been too much, and I am not sure how much damage even that would cause, but I don't think it could have eaten too much if any at all. I am sure it will be ok.

I wouldn't think ingesting a small amount would hurt her. It's usually chronic ingestion or large amounts of anything like that that would cause problems. As long as she is healthy and her husbandry is good (ie; environmental needs, etc.) try not to worry too much.
