You should take the advice from the Eat something thread posted earlier.

Hand feeding him is still going to stress him out more. You just got him, it can take weeks before a new gecko starts to eat. He probably didnt throw it up but just didnt want to eat so spit it out. Think of a scary giant sticking something in your mouth, that's what it is like to them. He is probably extremely stressed out now and the best thing to do is dont bother him.

CGD every few days and crickets once or twice a week, no baby food at all ever and he will start eating when he is comfortable. The more he is stressed the less he is going to eat.

baby food is fine for cresties PROVIDING you know whats good or bad - i know many people that mix cgd into it. completely avoid babyfoods made from concentrate and that use lemon juice as a preservative.

so only organic babyfoods with nothing artificial involved. we have a brand in england called "ellas kitchen" they do some great stuff and my cresties love the banana one.

i also mix a tiny bit of calcium carbonate into the mix too, it all helps.
