Worst Advice Received?

I personally enjoy hearing people working at big chain pet stores claim to be an expert on their herps. One time I had this lady tell me that leopard geckos don't need any outside heat sources and that they'll be fine with just sand and a water dish with a weekly feeding of about 6 crickets. Being the gentleman that I am, I kindly explained to the woman of her stupidity and took my crickets and left. I was just wondering what was the worst advice some of you have ever received on keeping Leo's and how did you react?

I don't hear too much with leos except the wrong temps and set up info.

One time I was listening to someone at +++++ (an employee) telling the people who just bought a crested gecko that they will need to use a heat lamp and have the animal bask right under it. I waited until the employee left and explained to the people that temps over 80 are not healthy for cresties. They had just called a friend and got the same info from them, but I didn't know and had to help them out.

I hear the usual sand, heat lamp, etc. kind of info with leopard geckos and baby food/heat for cresties.
I think the worst I heard was to feed a leopard gecko dried mealworms mixed with chicken noodle baby food. (Yes, they said chicken noodle). I asked the owner if the gecko was sick.."I hope not. This is our first gecko." So I educated them DRASTICALLY. They ended up thanking me profusely and even bought me a dozen crickets knowing that I have at least one leopard gecko....not realizing that a dozen crickets won't go too far in my household.
