Does anyone know whats going on? I've had about eight eggs from my leopard geckos and not one has hatched, they've all died of mold or something similar. The eggs have been from two different females (but the same male fathered all the clutches). I use HatchRite and keep the temperature at around 88-90 degrees F and for the humidity I would spray a little water on the HatchRite before I put the eggs in (because my seal broke on the bag so it dried out) and open the deli cup once a week for air exchange. So am I doing something wrong or just having bad luck?

I'd say your temps are too hot for Leo eggs. If it gets much over 88 they'll die or get birth defects. I keep mine at 84, to get a mix of boys and girls. And keep your temps as steady as possible. If you get mold, its too damp: if they collapse, its too dry. These are just guidelines that I work from.

I'm still learning myself, and I've only had about a 40% success rate, so not so good myself. I finallly purchased some of Rapahshy's Superhatch, so we'll see if that works better than vermiculite. Good luck!
