Would you suggest this?

Ok so my Leo is in a 10 gal glass tank. He can only take about 3 steps in the whole thing. Kinda small. So I have a clear 20 gal plastic tote. Would you suggest switching him into this?

Geckogirl, I would be using a uth.

I don't think it would. It keeps the tank now at out 95

Although the UTH shouldn't melt the tote, it might be best to set it up & observe it for a couple days, before you switch him, just to be sure.

Okay. And my mom keeps yelling at me saying he doesn't need more room. But he is 7 inches and he can't fully extend anywhere. Should I do it anyways?

would your mom like a room where she can only walk 3 steps?

I'm sure he'd like more room. I've observed they handle the transition better if you put their hides & bowels in the same spots as the old tank, even though they are spaced out more, they still recognize it.

Exactly. Then she said that it's only gonna cause problems for him not eating or anything.

If you let him settle for a while & only interaact with him for feeding, then he shouldn't have problems eating, as long as the temps are good.
