He's a Blizzard morph, I don't know very much about morphs, but that's what he was sold as.

Thanks, he is just so cute. I have to watch him though cos he's a fast little fella and he loves going on scamper missions.

He's a Blazing Blizzard. :)

Is that because of the yellow he's showing? (in natural light he has a fair bit of yellow, the flash makes him look whiter than he actually is, and the yellow is coming out more as he is growing)

He was sold as a Blizzard and the seller had both blazing blizzards and blizzard babies advertised for sale and the blazing blizzards were more expensive.

I'm trying to learn the morphs so this is interesting for me, I hope you don't mind me asking a few questions to help my learning.

I read that a blazing blizzard will have the eye of an albino. Wraith has grey eyes. Can a blazing blizzard have grey eyes?

Also just out of interest, how can you tell the difference between a blizzard, a blizzard that's got high yellow, a blazing blizzard and a true banana blizzard (am I right in thinking a true banana blizzard is a blizzard crossed with a murphy patternless)?

I think you can tell by the eyes on some but I read on the leopard wiki that to prove they are true morphs they have to be bred and get specific types of hatchlings, could be wrong though, I am not the best at the genetics. One thing I am absolutely positive about is he is beautiful :)

Thanks very much, and yes, I wondered if test breeding might be the only way to be sure, but at the very least I have lovely looking little fella :)

Oh yea.. Blazing Blizzards have red eyes. Didn't think about that.. DERP. Probably a regular blizzard. He's not a Banana Blizzard. My leo is a Banana Blizzard. Here are a couple of pics. As you can see, she is quite yellow.

Yeah, looking at those pics I think he's a regular blizzard (which is what he was sold as).

Your banana blizzard is really gorgeous :smitten: I bet she's amazing in the flesh.
